Position Overview Aspire Senior Living Platte City is seeking an organized, experienced, and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our leadership team. The Business Office Manager plays a key role in the financial and administrative success of our community. This position oversees essential business office functions, including billing, accounts receivable, reimbursement, payroll, human resources, accounts payable, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate understands the unique financial environment of long-term care and skilled nursing and can balance accuracy, compliance, deadlines, customer service, and employee support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. What You'll Do Billing, Accounts Receivable & Reimbursement Payroll & Human Resources Financial & Business Office Operations Accounts Payable & Purchasing Compliance & Documentation Customer Service & Collaboration What We're Looking For 2–3 years of experience in healthcare billing, accounts receivable, payroll, financial management, or business office operations preferred. Experience within long-term care, skilled nursing, senior living, or another healthcare environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, reimbursement, and third-party payer processes preferred. Experience with accounts receivable, collections, billing, and financial reconciliation. Knowledge of payroll processes and basic human resources practices. Understanding of applicable employment and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with accounting, payroll, billing, EHR, or healthcare information systems preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial, resident, and employee information professionally.
