Hospitalist 7 on/7 off | $200/hr

Opportunity Highlights

$200/hour
Fredericksburg, TX - one hour from San Antonio and just over an hour from Austin.
Full-time hospitalist coverage 7on/7 off
Day shifts with rotating weekends
Open ICU
No procedures required
Respond to codes with ER support
Average daily census of approximately 20-24 patients, shared with an APP
Night-call support for a nocturnist APP
Med/Surg telemetry unit
Open ICU that primarily functions as an intermediate-care setting
Specialty support includes GI, Urology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Infectious Disease, and Neurology
Hospitalists assist with postoperative medical management for orthopedic patients
Inpatient hospice coverage may be included, with an emphasis on continuity of care and advance care planning

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Texas medical license or eligible for Texas licensure
Comfortable practicing in an open-ICU environment
Strong communication and collaborative care skills
