About the Position

We are seeking a  Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a busy hospital setting. The provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, OB/GYN, general, GI, pediatric, plastics, robotic, and urology procedures . Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Occasional 16-hour call shifts (3 PM – 7 AM) during the week
• Coverage: 3–4 FTE per month
• Hospital Bed Size: 135
• EMR System: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Administer MAC, regional, spinal anesthesia
• Perform nerve blocks for high-volume orthopedic patients (mandatory)
• Support CRNA/room ratio 1:3
• Pediatric and adult anesthesia coverage as required

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• ACLS and PALS required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience preferred
• Must be proficient in regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided techniques
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temps available with clean file)
