Cook | Full-Time

Compensation: $18–$24 per hour + $3/hour weekend shift differential

Restaura is seeking a reliable, growth-oriented Cook to join our team of Employee Owners at a premier senior living community. In this role, you will prepare high-quality meals that enhance residents’ daily experience through consistency, care, and culinary excellence.

Available Shifts:

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Thursday–Monday)

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Sunday & Monday)

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Tuesday & Wednesday)

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare high-quality meals following standardized recipes and daily prep lists
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and temperature standards
• Execute menu items as directed by the culinary team
• Maintain pace and efficiency during busy service periods
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Store and manage food properly according to safety guidelines
• Keep kitchen, storage, and equipment clean and organized
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent dining experience
• Interact professionally with residents and support a welcoming environment
• What We’re Looking For:
• Experience as a cook or line cook (senior living or hospitality preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Comfortable using basic technology such as tablets
• Team-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of food safety practices (ServSafe preferred)
• Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
