Materials Engineer II

Position SummaryAcuren is seeking a Material Engineer II to support operations in New Castle, DE.ResponsibilitiesThe Engineer II independently performs a variety of metallographic examinations and analytical tasks to evaluate material characteristics and quality. Responsibilities include advanced specimen preparation, microstructure analysis using optical and digital microscopy, hardness testing, and image documentation. The Engineer II interprets results, prepares technical reports, and may assist in failure analysis and material verification projects. This role also supports equipment calibration, process improvement, and mentoring of entry-level staff.
