South Carolina Estate Planning Attorney
Carolina Legal Associates is currently placing an Estate Planning Attorney for an active client firm in the York County, SC area. They provide a steady stream of prospective clients directly to you. Therefore, you do not need to generate your own leads!
Your main goal is to advise families. You will lead initial meetings and turn those consultations into retained business. This role gives you direct control over your income. It highly suits attorneys who enjoy a steady pace and clear goals.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead initial client consultations and secure new business.
- Guide families through their various legal choices.
- Draft customized wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Work closely with the paralegal team to deliver outstanding legal support.
- Attend local networking events to educate the community about estate planning.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold an active South Carolina law license (this is the primary requirement).
- Possess a North Carolina license as a bonus, though it is not mandatory.
- Have at least 1-2 years of legal experience.
- Bring a history of managing initial client meetings.
- Display strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Feel comfortable discussing legal fees directly with clients.
- Know how to use legal document software and client databases.
- Prior estate planning knowledge helps, but the firm will gladly train the right person.
