ER RN (Registered Nurse) – Goodland, KS Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for an assignment in Goodland, KS, within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast‑paced emergency department, supporting a full range of acute and emergent presentations. Perform rapid triage and ongoing assessment of patients of varying ages and acuity, from minor injuries to life‑threatening emergencies. Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications and treatments, assist with procedures, and monitor cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic status using appropriate equipment and technology. Collaborate closely with emergency physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to implement care plans, participate in codes and trauma activations as needed, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, following hospital and regulatory standards. Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality‑of‑care protocols, including consistent use of PPE and safe patient handling practices. Communicate clearly and calmly with patients and families during high‑stress situations, providing concise updates and education regarding treatments, tests, and discharge instructions when appropriate. Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on facility needs.
