Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney to join its New York office. The role involves working with partners on public and private company transactions, drafting agreements, and conducting due diligence. The position offers a hybrid work environment with mandatory office attendance three days a week. Duties Participate in all aspects of public and private company transactional work. Coordinate and oversee due diligence efforts. Mentor and oversee junior attorneys. Manage organizational tasks and corporate drafting for major transactions. Engage in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed. Requirements 7-9 years of corporate and securities practice experience. Experience with large public company transactions. Proficiency in drafting documents and managing detailed transactions. Knowledge of basic securities laws and capital markets work. Qualified to practice law in New York; active member in good standing with the New York Bar Association. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the New York State Bar. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work productively with colleagues and clients. Demonstrated aptitude for fast-paced, multi-faceted work.
