Receiving Specialist

Keller is looking for a Recieving Specialist based out of our Chicago, Illinois office. Responsibilities Ensure receiving transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner to support timely costing and invoice matching Actively monitor the mailboxes and folders where delivery notes and packing slips are submitted from project sites and enter them into the ERP system Ensure rejected / incorrect deliveries are correctly recorded in the ERP Identify the associated PO line item and match the delivery note or packing slip to the appropriate PO line item Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; a relevant combination of education and experience Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process delivery notes and packing slips within an ERP system. Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation. Understanding of basic purchase order structure, including line items, quantities, and units of measure. Microsoft Excel or similar skills for tracking outstanding receipts and reporting. 12–18 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in Accounts Payable, procurement support, or project-based environments. Strong understanding of the procure-to-pay (P2P) process, including the relationship between purchase orders, receiving records, and supplier invoices. Familiarity with three-way matching principles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
