This full-time, remote position plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of clients suffering from physical and psychological distress due to workplace injuries. The LCSW will conduct individual and group therapy, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, with a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients within an outpatient pain clinic setting, focusing on psychological support for those addressing chronic pain and mental health challenges.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational class sessions to educate clients about coping strategies for managing pain and mental health symptoms.
\n
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to inform treatment planning and monitor client progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
\n
• Craft individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest best practices in pain psychology and align with clients' goals.
\n
• Develop and implement brief therapeutic interventions for individuals participating in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), regularly assessing their clinical progress.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make referrals for additional therapeutic modalities as required to enhance recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities within the electronic medical records (EMR) system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus will be on clients who have sustained injuries in the workplace and are dealing with associated psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical pain. You will work closely with a diverse group of patients, educating and guiding them through their journey towards recovery and managing the mental health aspects of their chronic pain conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• An active California license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of experience in providing therapeutic services, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.

• Familiarity with the assessment and treatment of clients dealing with chronic pain conditions is crucial.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional boundaries while providing empathetic care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar patient-centered care environment is preferred.
