Proficiency in the use of high flow (infant, pediatric, and adult), BPAP/CPAP, ventilators, bubble CPAP. Performs electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in areas throughout the hospital: Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, and PMG. Implement cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric, and adult patients. Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (but not required) - pulmonary function testing, Holter monitor placement and cardiac stress testing. Performs departmental specific duties. Qualifications Education: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy required. Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
