Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic K-8 environment. Provide specialized therapy to students from Pre-K through 8th grade at a single campus, allowing you to develop strong connections and deliver targeted interventions. This contract position is completely on-site, and you’ll serve as the sole SLP, offering you autonomy in your practice.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology licensure (CCC required)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy, especially with PK-8 populations
• Comfortable working independently as the only SLP on campus
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational staff
• Ability to manage therapy documentation and caseload tracking efficiently
• Able to meet district credentialing, including fingerprinting (prior ACHA prints may expedite onboarding)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and assessment to PK through 8th-grade students in a resource setting
• Conduct and interpret evaluations to determine speech-language needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans and IEPs
• Engage and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents for holistic student support
• Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and compliance with district protocols
• Serve as an integral resource for staff and students, ensuring continuity of care

Position Details:

• Contract duration: ASAP until June 1, 2027
• Schedule: 14 hours per week, spread over two 7-hour days
• Single-campus assignment to foster close relationships and consistency in care
• Full support for onboarding and district credentialing
