Starting pay: $17.00 per hour

• Annual performance reviews with typical increases of 3% or more (some receive 45%)

Customer Service Representative 8:00 am 5:00 pm

• 2 weeks PTO (start accruing after 90 days)
• 3 weeks PTO after 5 years of service
• 4 weeks PTO after 10 years of service

You'll be part of a customer service team that prides itself on providing fast, accurate, and professional support to customers. You'll assist customers by phone, email, live chat, and in person, while entering orders, answering questions, resolving concerns, and helping ensure an exceptional customer experience.

• Enter all customer orders received by phone, fax, email, live chat, or in person accurately and promptly
• Provide customers with pricing, product availability, order status, and product information
• Process order changes and updates as requested by customers
• Offer product suggestions and assistance when appropriate
• Respond promptly and professionally to live chat inquiries
• Assist customers with back orders, product questions, and general concerns
• Escalate customer issues when appropriate
• Record details of customer inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Two or more years of customer-facing experience preferred
• One year or more of experience using order entry, billing, point-of-sale, or similar computer systems preferred
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• Above-average attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

This position requires sitting for extended periods while working on a computer and speaking with customers throughout the day. Employees must regularly use hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment and occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds. The ability to maintain attention to detail, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a fast-paced office environment is required.
