Registered Nurse - Home Health & Hospice

A leading healthcare organization is actively hiring a Home Health RN in their home health program to join its growing care team serving patients.

Location: Metairie, Louisiana
Contract Duration: 27 Weeks (Extension possible based on business needs)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekly Guarantee: 40 Hours
Coverage Area: New Orleans and surrounding area s
On-Call/Weekend Requirement: None
Compensation: (Mileage reimbursement between patient-to-patient visit: $0.48/Mile)

• Local Pay: $53.00 - $57.00 per hour
• Travel Package: $2,618.46 Weekly
  • Lodging: $1,018.46/week
  • M&IE: $560.00/week

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Home Health assignment supporting patients throughout the New Orleans area. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with agency standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in a home health setting
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document visits accurately
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and disease management
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Home Health experience required
• HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and manage travel within coverage territory
