Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Inspire and support the next generation as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic, student-centered school environment near Canton, MI. This contract opportunity begins with the new school year—August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Three Special Education Teachers are needed: two will teach in elementary ASD or CI classrooms, and one will lead a resource room.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Current, active Special Education licensure in Michigan with CI or ASD endorsement (required)
• Previous classroom teaching experience in special education, particularly with ASD or CI populations, is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to collaborative practices and fostering positive learning outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and social-emotional growth
• Deliver targeted instruction tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to optimize student progress
• Track and document student outcomes, maintaining all compliance standards
• Provide behavioral interventions and adapt curriculum as needed
