What You'll Do

• Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track at a nationally recognized academic healthcare system.
• Supervise Internal Medicine residents in clinic-based experiential learning, focusing on health equity and quality improvement.
• Deliver comprehensive internal medicine care within the Value-Based Care Clinic, utilizing evidence-based guidelines and population health tools.
• Teach residents about social determinants of health, community-engaged care, and equity-centered clinical decision-making.
• Participate in journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and resident workshops.
• Lead quality improvement projects, mentor residents, and advance health equity research.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical processes, reduce disparities, and enhance patient outcomes.

What You Need

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and current license or eligibility in Texas.
• Experience in Internal Medicine; academic or teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health equity, value-based care, and population health strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
