Pay rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour (or more, depending upon experience)

MUST PASS A 4-PANEL* DRUG TEST (*certain drugs not tested - inquire within)

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE & A POSITIVE DRIVING RECORD (minimal tickets/accidents, if any)

 

We are a full-line/full-service maintenance & remodeling company looking to hire a Field Technician to perform service call work orders and projects for r esidential, commercial and industrial locations . This position requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and achievement-oriented. We emphasize professionalism, top-quality workmanship and on-time project completion.

Skills Required: (a majority or all of the following is preferred)

• Rough & Finish carpentry
• Roofing/siding/gutters
• Drywall & patching
• Interior/exterior painting
• Flooring - tile, wood, vinyl, laminate, etc. (carpet experience is a plus)
• Cabinetry & countertops
• Minor plumbing/electrical

Field Technician requirements include:

• Must possess building and construction experience and skills: minimum 5-10 years of experience with a resume to demonstrate such experience
• Personal hand & power tools owned to perform trade-work (larger tools/equipment and vehicle provided by company – option to use a personal work van/truck available, rules apply)

Responsibilities include:

• Performing various trade service work on jobsites
• Ability to troubleshoot various issues occurring to correct any issues or deficiencies and provide answers/resolutions on the job (diagnose & repair).
• Fill out paperwork – fully, properly, and legibly
• Ability to build good working relationships with coworkers & customers

S&D Prime Maintenance Inc. provides a full line of maintenance services to commercial, industrial and residential buildings and properties throughout the Chicagoland area and primarily in the suburbs with our office and shop/warehouse located in Addison.

Our team consists of many field technicians who have a trade specialty but also have multiple and other trade experience and knowledge for the ability to maintain the overall buildings and properties we service.

We additionally have office and support staff to assist in perform the quoting, communication, technical support & researching, scheduling, materials & parts sourcing and pickup, and billing responsibilities with the technicians in the field.

The company primarily utilizes digital platforms for a majority of our services and procedures along with phones & tablets in the field for the technicians to keep up with the evolutions and advancements of our trades, properties, and growing customer base.

Our normal operating schedule is Monday through Friday with emergency/on-call services when needed on nights and weekends.
