This position will require the Designer to oversee the technical drafting process, enforce quality control standards, and manage deliverables to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The Designer will be proactive in his/her own right in producing Construction Drawings for modular buildings and help to drive innovation and efficiency production. Other duties include but are not limited to reading for accuracy completed architectural plans and engineering and producing a Revit model that is converted to a framed element through a Revit plugin, Strucsoft/MWF. General knowledge of plan reading and framing is required. Includes interaction with municipal and state requirements affecting building. Building permit submittals, plan and file management, distribution are also included. Will subcontract work with Engineering firms as needed.

· Team experience are a must.

· 5 years plus CAD experience with a solid background in building design.

· Proficiency in the latest versions of AutoCAD / Revit, Sketchup, MS Office programs.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including various measurable KPI reporting.

· Experience working with architectural production drawings and material knowledge required.

· People skills, problem solving, training.

· Working with and meeting KPI's.

Responsibilities:

· Create shop drawings for framing operations.

· Create shop drawings for mechanical / electrical / plumbing / fire suppression operations.

· Print and distribute plans for production and office.

· Manage updates and revisions of plans as requested.

· Manage plan submittals for local and state governments as required.

· Creatively seek to gain efficiency in product.

· Work creatively with production team to achieve company goals.
