RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate & dedicated Part Time Residential Counselor to join our team.
In this role, you will a ssist the Housing Coordinator with providing services to individuals who temporarily reside in the Service Planning Unit and CR-SRO residents in their pursuit in becoming active, valued members in the community.
Requirements:
Personal or shared experience with mental Illness and/or substance abuse issues. Ability and desire to assist others in mastery of independent living skills and the personal recovery process . Understanding of peer support, self-help philosophy. Clean, valid NY State Driver’s License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health .
