About the Role:
11 Maple Street in Jensen Beach, FL is looking for a talented and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Monitor food inventory and assist with proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
- Follow all food safety and handling guidelines in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and mise en place
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler certification or ServSafe certification is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
