Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Molding Process Technician to join our dynamic team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring that our injection molding operations run smoothly and efficiently. Pay is negotiable based on experience. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery and production processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine performance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, machinery, and materials.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
You should be proficient in:
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Injection Molding Experience
- Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
