Logistics Dispatcher

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Starting Pay: $19/hour with a pay increase after the probationary period

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to assist the Freight dispatching dept. Coordinate daily routes, assign loads to drivers, and ensure timely and efficient delivery operations. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, monitor, and track incoming orders; assign loads to appropriate drivers
• Coordinate service schedules with field crews and confirm arrival times with customers
• Manage and maintain driver settlements in collaboration with dispatch and settlement teams
• Prepare and deliver daily and weekly performance/KPI reports
• Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure 100% satisfaction
• Oversee drivers’ daily routes and make adjustments as needed
• Respond promptly and positively to customer calls to assess needs and schedule work orders effectively

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read maps and strong geographical knowledge of service areas
• Experience in trucking or brokerage dispatch preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and effective verbal communication in English
• Previous dispatching or scheduling experience is a plus
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
