Phlebotomist- Patient Service Specialist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Cumming, GA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break and rotating Saturdays may be included. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic tests. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1 year or more phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 3 years or more phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
