Accounts Receivable Manager

Overview Summary: The Accounts Receivable Collections Manager position requires significant management experience to supervise a team of five or more employees responsible for clearing aged receivables through analysis, soft collection contact, taking payment, premium audit resolution, and third-party vendor assignment. The manager will oversee the collection process, manage reports, and collaborate with the team and other departments to increase process efficiencies. This will be a hands-on role and the manager will perform collector functions as needed. Responsibilities Responsibilities: · Manage AmTrust Internal Collections team (AIC).· Serve as escalation point for issues that impact high profile agents, insureds, and internal business units.· Perform collector functions as needed to ensure goal attainment. · Collaborate with team to identify opportunities for improvement.· Set targets, implement guidelines, and support objectives in an evolving environment.· Management and communication of team results and development.· Coach, mentor, and manage individual staff performance.· One on one meetings· Conflict management.· Oversee training.· Work with IT to resolve issues and enhance system support. Qualifications Qualifications: Required:• College degree • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.• 5+ years of effective staff management experience, including performance management.• Collaborative management style.• Outstanding communication and people skills. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. • Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback.• Experience in setting and meeting ambitious goals in a challenging environment. • Success in documenting workflows and processes • Able to work on-site in Cleveland Office• Light travel possible, but not probablePreferred: • Work experience in commercial insurance and/or customer service management What We Offer What We OfferAmTrust Financial Services offers a competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
