Location: Maricopa Foot and Ankle Center

Maricopa Foot and Ankle Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional foot and ankle care to patients of all ages in our community. Our practice values professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding patient service.

Position Summary
The Medical Assistant plays an essential role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive high-quality, efficient care. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs.
• Assist the physician during office visits and minor procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Perform administrative duties which may including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient records.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure instructions.
• Process referrals, authorizations, and other clinical documentation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required (depending on experience).
• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Hours of Opperation:

M/T/Th 8-5 with lunch 12-1 and W 8-12 (with every other week being 8-5 with a 12-1 lunch break)
