Job Duties Interact with senior management at companies to build relationships and coordinate information requests needed for analysis. Conduct detailed financial analysis on privately held companies, including forecasting financial statements, valuation analysis, market and competitive analysis, returns analysis, unit economics, and modeling preferred equity structures. Prepare detailed investment committee memos outlining the considerations of a particular investment and the proposed terms. Present investment thesis to internal investment committees. Perform investment management duties such as quarterly valuations, assessing capital needs, business development, board serving and exit opportunities. Research and develop expertise around trends, themes, and business models across enterprise technology. Mentor analysts and other junior team members. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum two years of experience in a comparable investment banking role or related field, including experience with mid‑ and large‑cap sellside and buyside transactions (enterprise value $500 million+), fully integrated cash‑flow, balance‑sheet, and P&L financial modeling, valuation and model analysis for Fairness Committees, and presentations to Boards of Directors. Experience working with key stakeholders at publicly listed companies (enterprise value $1 billion+) including CEOs, CFOs, and finance teams, and utilizing tools such as Thomson Reuters Eikon and Bloomberg Terminals for detailed financial analysis.
