Senior Facilities Manager

THE CLIENT Our client is a rapidly scaling investment firm, with continued growth across the business, they are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead workplace operations and facilities management for their New York office. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of facilities, workplace experience, IT coordination, and office operations. THE ROLE The Senior Facilities Manager will serve as the primary facilities lead for the New York office, overseeing both strategic workplace initiatives and day-to-day facilities operations. Reporting locally to the CTO and partnering closely with the Facilities Manager in London, this individual will play a critical role in supporting office growth, infrastructure projects, and employee experience. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who is equally comfortable overseeing large-scale office buildouts as they are jumping in to help with day-to-day operational needs when required. Responsibilities include: Lead office buildouts, renovations, and workplace expansion projects Manage all facilities operations for the New York office Partner closely with IT on workplace infrastructure and technology initiatives Oversee vendor relationships, maintenance contracts, and building management Manage HVAC, office maintenance, safety, and operational processes Supervise facilities and administrative staff Drive workplace improvement projects and operational efficiencies Own facilities budgets and procurement processes Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency across office locations Support meeting setup, office logistics, and day-to-day workplace needs as required Maintain a high-quality workplace experience for employees and visitors THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate is a seasoned facilities professional who combines strong leadership and project management capabilities with a hands-on, no-task-too-small mentality. Requirements: 10-12+ years of facilities management experience Experience within financial services, private equity, hedge funds, investment management, or similar corporate environments preferred Proven experience overseeing office buildouts, relocations, or large-scale workplace projects Strong understanding of facilities operations, HVAC systems, maintenance, and vendor management Experience partnering closely with IT teams and supporting workplace technology initiatives Prior people management experience, including overseeing facilities and/or administrative staff Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to balance strategic planning with daily operational execution Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proactive, resourceful, and highly accountable THE COMP/BENEFITS Base salary: $190,000-$200,000 Bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Full-time, on-site position Hours: 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Opportunity to join a rapidly growing investment firm High visibility across senior leadership and global teams Significant ownership and impact within the organization Exposure to workplace strategy, buildouts, and operational growth initiatives Joss Search is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
