A leading facilities management organization is hiring a Senior Facilities Manager in Manhattan, New York to oversee facilities operations and deliver an exceptional workplace experience across a prestigious, high-profile commercial property.

The Role

As the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll:

• Lead and develop the on-site facilities team, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of both hard and soft FM services across a complex, critical commercial environment.
• Manage planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and facility improvement projects.
• Act as the primary client-facing representative, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and specialist service partners to maintain high operational standards.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital expenditure projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across building performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

You

To be successful in the role of Senior Facilities Manager, you'll bring:

• 5–8 years of Facilities Management experience.
• A strong technical facilities background, with experience overseeing critical building systems within large-scale commercial environments.
• Experience managing high-profile offices, financial services, corporate headquarters, or other mission-critical facilities.
• Proven experience managing and developing multidisciplinary facilities teams.
• Strong knowledge of both hard and soft FM services.
• A customer-centric, client-facing approach, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, contractors, and capital projects.
• Strong financial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Facilities Management certification would be advantageous.
