Shift Lead

Overview Team Member: Shift Lead — Brenz Pizza Co is looking for a Full Time Shift Lead who can lead a highly skilled team. If you are interested, here is a little more information about the position. Responsibilities Lead and motivate kitchen staff; communicate with drivers, front of the house, and the General Manager. Manage by example and uphold Brenz’ high standards of quality and cleanliness. Coordinate day-to-day kitchen tasks and participate in cleaning, prep, boxing products, and related duties. Assist with scheduling and weekly planning with the General Manager. Qualifications Knowledge: Understanding of the restaurant industry, health standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to order from approved vendors and maintain accurate inventory. Experience/Education: Experience in restaurant kitchens; willingness to learn and perform all Brenz kitchen roles. Strong verbal and written communication; ability to organize and create weekly schedules with the General Manager. Leadership Ability: Strong communication, lead by example, manage kitchen staff, and collaborate with drivers and front-of-house staff; uphold Brenz’ standards of quality and cleanliness. Other: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads. Participate in day-to-day kitchen tasks (cleaning, prep, boxing products). Education and skills: High school diploma; minimum 2 years of supervisory experience; basic knowledge of P&L statements; basic math and accounting skills; strong guest service, communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills; full availability for any shift (including nights, weekends, and holidays); ability to work a 40-hour week; good personal grooming; ability to stand for 8 hours; ability to push/pull/stretch and use fingers and wrists; ability to lift 35–50 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
