Job Title: Travel RN Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Required Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in Med Surg. Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Unit Information: 29 beds with a staff of 9 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. Expected patient population includes neuro patients, TIA, stroke, epilepsy, and ictal spect. Typical procedures performed on the unit involve acute care management. The role requires effective time management skills. Candidates with ACLS certification will be prioritized. Floating to all acute care areas may be required. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs. Four weekend shifts are required per four-week schedule period.
