Position Summary As a Senior Associate, you will partner with a team of professionals on diverse projects across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, healthcare, software& technology, aerospace, defense, and energy. Your role focuses on integrated due diligence that blends operational, functional, and industry expertise with high‑quality financial accounting and tax services to drive value throughout a transaction. Responsibilities Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying key risks and deal breakers, and evaluating target businesses against industry benchmarks. Analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and operational data, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for client discussions. Evaluate the quality of target earnings, net assets, and cash flows. Develop deal‑orientation reports and presentations, highlighting financial, commercial, and other findings that inform valuations and negotiation points. Participate in meetings and conference calls with target management and client personnel, serving as a secondary point of contact for day‑to‑day execution matters. Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities. Mentor and counsel CTG associates and analysts. Develop and deliver training courses for CTG staff. Research technical accounting subjects relevant to financial due diligence. Coordinate with other A&M service groups and functional areas during engagements. Delegate work and review associates’ and analysts’ performance. Apply basic project‑management skills. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of financial accounting due diligence experience or equivalent at a top accounting firm. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related major. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent credential. Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting. High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in basic project‑management skills. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Willingness to travel for projects and A&M needs. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Compensation and Benefits The base salary is $130,000 annually, variable. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
