divh2Transportation Technician/h2pTruck Wash/ppBasic Functions:/ppThe Transportation Technicians primary responsibility is to ensure the complete sanitation of all livestock trailers, goosenecks, feed trucks, and wash bays. The Transportation Technician must adhere to company standard operating procedures and is expected to follow all safety protocols developed and implemented. The Transportation Technician must also keep company equipment and facilities in good condition./ppDuties Responsibilities:/pulliUnderstands the concept of clean and dirty areas and what procedures have to be followed when going from one area to the other/liliUnderstands and operates the power washing cleaning systems/liliPressure washes trailers from top to bottom, inside and out in a timely manner and efficiently/liliEnsures wash bays and dryer bay clean at all times/liliOperates the dryer chamber/liliPulls trailers in and out of wash bays and dryer chamber utilizing company tractor/liliOperates tractors and trucks in safe manner to avoid damage to property and equipment/liliComplies with the company standard operating procedures and wears personal protective equipment/liliUnderstands and apply the cleaning protocol/liliInspects trailers after washing to ensure it meets company standards/liliInspects all high pressure hose and fittings periodically for cuts or wear and reports to ECS manager of any that are in need of replacing to prevent personal injury/liliWashes winter panels when necessary/liliFollows safety procedures when applying chemicals/liliSets thermostats at regular temperature throughout winter months/liliSeeks guidance from supervisor when troubleshooting power washer or mechanical equipment/liliPerforms other duties as assigned by management/li/ulpEducation Work Experience:/ppHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred OR 1-2 years pressure washer experience/ppMental and Physical Demands:/ppAbility to perform repeated dynamic movements from below to above shoulder height/ppAbility to lift over 50lbs/ppHave and increased level of fitness that will focus on cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility/ppAbility to work independently and follow directions/ppMust be able to kneel, squat, bend frequently for extended periods of time/p/div
