Highlights Location: Akron, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department/Unit: 8100 Family Practice Unit Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care to patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a given patient population. Complete ongoing assessments and recognize changes in patient condition. Develop and update goals, involving patients and families in care plans. Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care and serve as a patient advocate. Administer treatments and medications, and document care provided. Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes. Contribute to the improvement of care and participate in quality improvement processes. Delegate tasks and serve as a resource person for the team. Pursue ongoing education and maintain applicable certification/licensure. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required. Experience Experience in acute care preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
