We enjoy working with people who think so too.What We're Really Looking ForWe're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented People Operations Associate to work alongside our People Analyst and support day-to-day People Operations across the full employee lifecycle. This role will take meaningful ownership of core HR programs and infrastructure-including benefits administration, 401(k) plan operations, PEO management, HR systems, and people reporting-while supporting special projects such as new entity setup, international expansion, and equity issuance. This is an ideal role for someone early in their HR career who wants exposure to sophisticated People Operations in a high-performance, fast-growing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister the company's 401(k) plan, including enrollments, contributions, compliance coordination, and vendor communicationSupport annual benefits renewals and open enrollment in partnership with the PEO and benefits brokersManage day-to-day PEO operations, serving as a key point of contact for employee record changes, benefits, payroll processing, and compliance mattersSupport new company/entity setup, including coordination with legal, finance, payroll, and benefits providersManage the unemployment claims process, working with external vendors and ensuring timely documentation and responsesMaintain and update the employee handbook, people policies, and internal documentation to ensure ongoing complianceSupport employee equity issuance processes, including onboarding coordination with legal, cap table providers, and internal stakeholdersOwn administration of HR systems and tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll/PEO platforms), ensuring data accuracy and process documentationPartner with the People Analyst on people reporting and analytics, supporting headcount reporting, turnover metrics, and workforce insightsSupport international expansion projects, including coordination with external advisors on employment setup, payroll, and benefits in new geographiesOwn people-related projects across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, audits, and compliance initiativesWho You AreBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field5 years of relevant experience in HR, People Operations, or related administrative/operations roles (internships or contract experience welcomed)Exposure to or interest in benefits administration, PEO models, and HR systemsStrong attention to detail with a love for building clean, scalable processesSelf-identifying as a numbers/data person; Excel/Google Sheets proficiency preferredTech-forward and quick to learn new tools (experience with HRIS, ATS, PEO platforms, or Notion/Slack a plus)High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalismProactive, dependable, and excited to grow within a small, high-impact People teamLocationTriEdge is an in-person team with offices in Hudson Yards, New York. This role is expected to be in office Monday - Thursday, working remotely on Fridays.Pay TransparencyThe annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
