Trust Administrator

A well-established, privately held trust company providing wealth advisory and trust administration services to families and individuals across the region, known for precision, discretion, and long-term client relationships built on trust and expertise. Job Overview We\'re looking for a Trust Administrator to own the full lifecycle of trust accounts, from opening through funding, distributions, and closing. The portfolio mix includes IRAs, irrevocable trusts, revocable trusts, and unitrusts, spanning roughly 250 to 300 accounts. You\'ll work closely with Account Managers as a trusted partner on each client team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a top-tier client experience at every stage. This role suits someone self-sufficient, curious, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small office setting. Responsibilities Oversee new account openings, review trust instruments, and resolve questions with Account Managers Administer a portfolio mix of IRAs, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and unitrusts Verify system records for accuracy following account setup Maintain account documentation and communications in the firm\'s document management system Administer key account events including gifts, charitable contributions, estate transfers, UPIA elections, and share splits Serve as point person on special administration projects, coordinating across internal departments Review and approve client disbursements (utilities, taxes, insurance, personal expenses) Conduct annual administrative reviews for compliance and track key milestones (beneficiary age thresholds, termination dates) Oversee account closings and asset distributions, including termination schedules, final fee calculations, and outside Trustee confirmations Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in a related field; Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation strongly preferred 6+ years of trust administration experience, including working knowledge of trusts, estates, and fiduciary/individual tax matters Self-starter who can problem-solve independently and adapt to the pace of a small organization Experience with trust accounting systems and custodial platforms preferred What We Offer Base salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 + bonus potential 3% 401k contribution plus discretionary 5% profit sharing after year one Medical, dental, vision insurance, FSA, and LSA 4 weeks of accrued vacation + sick time + holidays Hybrid schedule for NH residents (MA residents are required to be 100% onsite due to applicable laws, but are given a $150/monthly stipend) #J-18808-Ljbffr Jasurda Search Group
