This role will report to the Sr. Manager Materials Planning and will be based in Fremont, CA.Role and Responsibilities:Establish the production schedule in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by firming, releasing and tracking the flow of work ordersServe as a single point of contact to the Manufacturing organization on material availability status for assigned production work centersWork closely with procurement, planning, logistics and other supply chain functions for material status and to align manufacturing plans and material flowDrive transaction discipline to ensure manufacturing reports each milestone operation in the ERP system and track timely close of work ordersEstablish and maintain ERP item planning parameters including manufacturing lead times, planning time fences, order modifiers and continuously improves data integrityEnsure accurate and timely set up for manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs) for all itemsMonitor the integrity between engineering and manufacturing BOMsReview and approve engineering change orders, planning BOMs and deviation requestsRevise the schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability of parts & materialTrack the accuracy of manufacturing routings and work closely with manufacturing engineers on the optimization of all routing steps and standard operationsMonitor work order aging in the ERP system and continuously drive for reductions in Work in Progress (WIP) inventoryCollaborate with all functions to ensure buy in and adherence to the production scheduleContributor to the implementation of all materials affected on Engineering Change NoticesMonitor accuracy of plan assumptions on a daily basis, communicate required adjustments to the rest of the materials teamAnalyze monthly Inventory Aging reports based on agreed parameters and provide forward visibility on potential issues.Develop and publish inventory reports to management outlining current inventory levels/trends, potential excess/obsolete and drive inventory management initiatives to manage inventory to the agreed levelsSkills and Experience:Prefer BS/BA Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering3-5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Production Planning and/or SchedulingExperience using Oracle ERP or similar ERP systemsExcellent oral and written communications skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionally to develop best solutions for the companyAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentSelf-starter with ability to complete activities with minimal directionProficiency with MS Office SuiteHighly analytical skill set with excel experience and attention to detailsAmerican Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification preferredAbout Bloom Energy:At Bloom Energy, we strive toward a 100% renewable future.
