We're looking for a Director of Group Sales who can grow revenue by connecting businesses, schools, youth sports teams, nonprofits, military organizations, community groups, and other organizations with memorable game-day experiences.

This is not a position where you'll sit back and wait for leads.

You'll be out in the Tucson community, building relationships, developing creative group experiences, prospecting new accounts, closing business, and growing a group sales program where your results directly impact attendance and revenue.

And with a base salary of $60,000–$80,000 plus 10% commission on net group ticket sales, your success is rewarded.

What You'll Own

You will take the lead on growing group ticket sales and developing new business throughout the Tucson market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting and developing new group business through calls, email, networking, referrals, community outreach, and face-to-face meetings
• Building relationships with businesses, schools, youth sports organizations, nonprofits, military organizations, associations, and community groups
• Creating group packages, theme nights, special events, hospitality opportunities, and customized game-day experiences
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing, fulfillment, renewal, and account growth
• Developing creative promotions and programs that give organizations a reason to bring their people to games
• Growing existing accounts through renewals, referrals, and expanded partnerships
• Maintaining an active pipeline and consistently working toward established revenue goals
• Collaborating with marketing, sponsorship, community relations, ticketing, and game operations
• Representing the organization at games, networking events, community functions, and business-development opportunities
• Ensuring group customers receive an outstanding experience from their first conversation through game day
• Tracking sales activity, opportunities, forecasts, and revenue through CRM and ticketing systems

Who We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career in professional sports.

We care most about finding a proven salesperson who knows how to prospect, build relationships, create opportunities, and close business.

You may come from professional sports, collegiate athletics, live entertainment, hospitality, events, ticketing, sponsorship sales, membership sales, or another relationship-driven B2B sales environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 3+ years of successful sales, business development, group sales, ticket sales, or other revenue-generating experience
• A track record of developing new business rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads
• Confidence making outbound calls, walking into businesses, networking, and meeting decision-makers
• Strong relationship-building and closing skills
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and working toward revenue goals
• Creativity when developing promotions, events, packages, and sales opportunities
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Experience with CRM or ticketing systems
• Professional sports, collegiate athletics, live entertainment, venue, hospitality, or ticketing experience is a plus
• Ticketmaster or Spinzo experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience

Commission: 10% commission on net group ticket sales

The commission structure provides meaningful additional earning potential for a strong producer.

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, on-site position in Tucson, Arizona.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday; however, professional sports doesn't always happen between 8 and 5. Candidates should be available to attend games, events, community functions, and other activities during evenings and weekends when needed.
