Assistant Maintenance Director (10am-6pm and Every Other Weekend)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Maintenance Director in supervising and coordinating the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective upkeep of the facility
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and report maintenance needs, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks
• Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility policies
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall facility operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; relevant training or certification may be considered
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs, if necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in a related field an asset
