Benefit Analyst

Benefit AnalystAt Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps organizations attract, retain, and support their employees through innovative benefits solutions. As a Benefit Analyst, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.Responsibilities include partnering with consultants and producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives, reviewing and monitoring ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests, assisting in the management of complex employee benefits accounts, analyzing benefits data, researching benefits, compliance, and industry-related topics, reviewing client communication materials, and supporting special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement activities.Required QualificationsMinimum 2 to 3 years of experience working in employee benefits or a related fieldStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentStrong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Benefits, or a related fieldExperience supporting employee benefit plan administration or consulting activitiesActive Health, Life, and Accident Insurance License or ability to obtain licensureExperience working with insurance carriers, vendors, and employee benefits clientsStrong presentation and interpersonal communication skillsExperience analyzing benefits-related financial or operational dataKnowledge of employee benefits compliance and regulatory requirementsCommitment to continuous professional growth and industry educationCompensationSalary Range: $60,000–$80,000 annuallyBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coverage401(k)Generous paid time offProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesThis position is Hybrid.
