Facility Maintenance Technician

Facility CoordinatorFlexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join us as a Facility Coordinator in our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Our Facility Coordinator will work closely with our Director of Facilities to support all activities, repairs, and act as a liaison with third party vendors. This position plays an important role at our facility and ensures a high level of service to all internal and external customers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesActs as an interface with employees, clients, visitors and guests. Acts collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism. Ensures delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction.Troubleshoot and perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, rooftop units, electrical panels.Maintain lighting, change outlets and monitor low voltage systems.Handle plumbing leaks, fixtures, drains and water heaters.Perform special projects & building repairs that include framing walls, drywall, paint, carpet, ceiling tile, door hardware, minor electrical, minor plumbing and minor HVAC repairs.Perform light bulb changes, ceiling tile replacement, and assist with roof leaksGood communication skills and ability to work independently with little supervisionAssist the management team by communicating the need for extensive repairsMove heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using machineryDemonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity in finding solutions for service delivery, all within the approved facility budget.Resolves issues associated with all building services including, but not limited to parking, vending, conference rooms, interior and exterior furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.Assists with receiving and dispatching work orders, including updating and closing out work requests in a timely manner. This task also includes acting as an escort for vendors.Ensures appropriate follow up with vendors, both clearly and professionally, verbally, or via email and through appropriate work order system.Keep detailed logs, order parts and work with vendors as needed.Assist with facility inspections that may include escorting vendors and local city life safety departments.Provides direction or information to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers, to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption.Provides coordination and/or support for meetings and conference rooms, as needed and directed.Greet incoming vendors and ensure they are directed to where they need to go and who they are meeting with in a friendly manner.Perform other tasks as needed.Work Experience & QualificationsAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of facility management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Solid mechanical knowledge and tool familiarizationComfortable on ladders, rooftops and man liftsBasic computer skills for work order systemsMust maintain a valid driver's license and good driving recordRequired SkillsStrong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected levelSuccessful candidates must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers' demands in a fast-paced environmentMust possess passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere with a positive attitude.Willing to develop, value and maintain positive relationships with fellow employees, vendors, shareholders and contractors.
