Location: Athens, Georgia Schedule: Full-Time | Permanent | Outpatient Only

Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician to join its growing team in Athens, GA.

This full-time position offers a balanced schedule, with approximately 2.5 days per week in Athens and 2 days per week in Royston, providing outpatient care only. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance exams.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, respect, and excellence in clinical care.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
• Experience: Previous outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
