EPL Claims Specialist

Claims Consultant – EPL

We’re seeking an organized, detail‑driven Claims Consultant to support Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims in a fast‑paced insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming EPL/EEOC claims (2–3 new claims per day)
• Acknowledge claims, assign counsel, and monitor files through closure
• Communicate with attorneys, brokers, and internal partners
• Assist with settlement discussions on lower‑level, non‑litigated claims
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet quality and cycle time standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in claims processing , preferably EPL or specialty lines
• Strong organization skills with ability to manage high claim volume
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret policy language and coverage
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Nice to Have:

• EPL or employment‑related claims experience
• Litigation exposure
• Guidewire or similar claims system experience

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
