Can you keep a high-traffic entertainment venue in top shape across an entire shift? We’re looking for a Porter who takes real ownership of the venue’s cleanliness and presentation. You’ll complete housekeeping tasks, maintain restrooms and public areas, monitor supplies, assist with minor repairs, and help keep every corner of the venue guest-ready. If you take pride in your work and you understand that a clean venue is a great venue, this is your role. THE ROLE The Porter is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of Topgolf’s public areas, restrooms, and venue spaces. You’ll work under the direction of the Facilities team to complete housekeeping tasks, maintain safety standards, monitor supplies, and assist with light maintenance — ensuring the venue looks and feels its best for every guest, every shift. This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons. WHAT YOU WILL DOKeep the Venue Clean and Guest-Ready* Complete all housekeeping tasks as directed by the Facilities and Operations management team* Clean and sanitize restrooms, public areas, and common spaces to Topgolf’s cleanliness standards throughout every shift* Maintain a keen eye for cleanliness across the entire venue — proactively addressing anything that falls short of standard* Ensure all areas are presentable and welcoming for incoming guests at all times Monitor Supplies and Assist with Maintenance* Monitor the use and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, flagging shortages to the Facilities team* Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed, such as replacing light fixtures or addressing minor plumbing issues* Inspect the venue for safety hazards and report any deficiencies to the Facilities team immediately* Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures at all times Support the Team and the Guest Experience* Work as a dependable, proactive team member under the direction of the Facilities and Operations teams* Respond quickly to housekeeping and maintenance calls across the venue* Communicate clearly with management about task completion, supply needs, and any issues that require attention* Demonstrate Topgolf's Core Values in every interaction: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE* You’ll play a key role in keeping one of the most exciting entertainment venues looking and feeling its best* You’ll develop facilities and maintenance skills in a high-traffic, high-energy environment* You’ll work alongside a team that values hard work, takes pride in the venue, and genuinely supports each other* You’ll work in a place where your effort is visible in every guest experience — even if they don’t see you do it CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESSBeing Resilient | You stay focused and thorough even during the busiest event nights, because the venue standard never takes a break.* Remains calm and professional during peak service, high-volume events, and unexpected challenges* Recovers quickly when things go sideways and helps the team do the same* Manages the heat, literally and figuratively, without letting pressure affect the team's performance or morale* Brings the same care and attention to the last task of the shift as to the first Communicates Effectively | You stay in sync with the Facilities team, flag what needs attention, and keep the venue running at full standard.* Listens to direction from the Facilities and Operations team and acts on it quickly and thoroughly* Communicates proactively about task completion, supply shortages, and any areas that need immediate attention* Reports safety hazards, maintenance deficiencies, and equipment issues to management without delay* Contributes to a team environment where every member is set up to keep the venue at its best Customer Focus | You understand that the condition of the venue is part of every guest’s experience, and you own that.* Holds themselves accountable for the cleanliness and presentation of every area they’re responsible for* Anticipates what the venue will need before it becomes an issue — and acts before being asked* Understands that guests notice a clean, well-maintained venue and takes genuine pride in delivering that* Always looking for ways to keep the venue cleaner, safer, and better maintained — and acts on it Drives Results | You keep the venue at its best every shift because every guest deserves to walk into a great environment.* Holds themselves to high standards for cleanliness, safety, and venue presentation on every shift* Moves with urgency and personal ownership to ensure tasks are completed fully and on time* Notices when an area has slipped below standard — and addresses it immediately without waiting to be told* Takes pride in a kitchen that runs well, looks clean, and puts out great food consistently QUALIFICATIONS* Experience in a housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities environment preferred* Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Must be 18 years of age or older as required by state or local law PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*Let's be real — this isn't your typical desk job! Here's what you'll need to do to thrive in this role:* * Ability to remain on your feet and in motion for extended periods throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and moving throughout all areas of the venue including restrooms, public spaces, back-of-house, and outdoor areas; this role requires sustained physical stamina across the full duration of each shift* Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance, including cleaning supplies, trash containers, equipment, and maintenance materials across multiple levels of the venue* Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, and multi-level areas of the venue when completing housekeeping tasks, transporting supplies, or responding to cleaning and maintenance needs* Ability to work in varying temperature and weather environments on a frequent basis, including outdoor areas, restrooms, kitchen-adjacent spaces, and air-conditioned indoor venues* Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, lifting, carrying, and operating cleaning equipment throughout the shift* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a high-energy venue environment that may include moderate to high levels of background noise* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic venue environment while maintaining focus, cleanliness standards, and attention to safety throughout each shift Sounds like a fit?
