Job Details

We are seeking talented 1st–6th year Litigation Associates to join a sophisticated and growing litigation practice.

This is an opportunity for attorneys who want exposure to complex litigation and the chance to work on challenging matters for sophisticated clients. Associates will work closely with partners and senior attorneys and will have the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility as they develop their litigation skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in complex litigation.

Candidates must be admitted to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and prepare sophisticated memoranda, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Assist with discovery, including document review, written discovery, depositions, and discovery strategy.
• Participate in case development, fact investigation, and preparation for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and evaluate potential risks and outcomes.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, experts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel as appropriate.
• Contribute to matters involving sophisticated legal and business issues across a variety of industries.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in complex litigation.
• Prior experience at a sophisticated law firm is strongly preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000–$390,000, depending on year of experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits and bonus package.
