As a Full-Time Multifamily Construction Superintendent - Roofing & Siding at DominionX, you will be at the forefront of our projects, meticulously monitoring the construction process to ensure timely completion that adheres to specifications. Your technical knowledge will be invaluable in assessing how various components, systems, and equipment integrate into the overall project design. You'll be responsible for coordinating construction schedules, maintaining clear communication with project management, and addressing any conflicts that arise. Your role culminates in conducting final inspections of construction projects, ensuring that every detail meets our high standards of excellence and integrity.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Strong project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of roofing systems
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee exterior construction (i.e., siding, roofing, etc) on multi-family and other commercial building projects from initiation through completion.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, to specifications, and within budget.
• Conduct project meetings with clients & subcontractors, developing a strong rapport with each group.
• Supervision and oversight of onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and promptly identify, resolve issues, and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate the efforts of subcontractors and labor teams, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure all roofing work meets industry standards and client specifications.
• Address any quality issues that arise during the roofing process and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, daily logs, and correspondence.
• Prepare and present regular project update reports and status updates to stakeholders and upper management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations as well as company policies and procedures related to roofing work.
• Promote a culture of safety among all team members and conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of multifamily and exterior construction
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, practices, regulations, and industry standards. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Experience supervising multi-family and/or commercial construction projects
• Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain high standards of quality and safety
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with project management software and construction documentation
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
