Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the streamlining and automation of finance reporting workflows, replacing manual legacy processes. Revamp the existing Board report by reducing unnecessary pages, integrating narrative storytelling, and shifting from static data tables. Provide dedicated support for the upcoming budgeting cycle, ensuring accuracy and strategic insight. Engage in enterprise and product profitability projects, helping the organization catch up with best practices. Conduct tedious, detailed tasks related to month-end close and financial data analysis. Required Skills: Proven experience in modernizing and automating finance reporting and workflows. Strong proficiency with financial reporting tools and automation platforms. Hands-on experience with month-end closing processes. Ability to handle detailed, repetitive tasks with accuracy. Excellent communication skills to craft narrative storytelling within reports. Nice to Have Skills: Background in financial institutions or banking. Familiarity with ProfitStar or similar profitability analysis tools. Prior experience in project management or process improvement initiatives. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles within financial services. Other Requirements: Ability to start fully on-site in San Jose, with a flexible transition to hybrid work over time. Willingness to engage in detailed, manual tasks as part of continuous process improvement. Experience working with senior leadership, including finance executives like VP of Finance and CFO, is advantageous.
