Job Description

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Assesses, plans, and executes imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate patient conditions and adjust imaging techniques accordingly.
• Assess, plan, and implement care for patients across all age groups from adolescence to geriatric.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly for optimal performance.
• Document and manage patient records, billing, and data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-RT and ARRT-CT).
• Possess active Radiologic Tech license in California.
• Have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrate venipuncture certification (preferred).
• Maintain facility-specific certifications, such as BLS from AHA or ARC.
