Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• First time travelers accepted

• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR

• On call requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM

• Call requirement: 1-2 weeknight and 1-2 weekend Friday-Monday shifts per month

• Work with adult patients only

• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT

• Indiana license required and must be in hand prior to start date

• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases

• Perform stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures

• Handle abdominal and pelvic procedures, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies

• Work with Siemens equipment including single plane and biplane c-arms

• Experience required with PACS, contrast, and C-arm technology

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Floating to affiliate hospitals is required

• Charting system experience with Cerner required

• Level 1 trauma experience required

This major healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology department with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms, plus 2 hybrid operating rooms. The facility maintains Level 1 designations for trauma, pulmonary embolism, and stroke care, providing advanced vascular and neuro interventional services. The department handles complex procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, thrombectomy procedures, stent placements, and central line insertions with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated support staff.
