We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in processing certified payroll in Union County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for payroll processing, certified payroll, prevailing wages, and more. If you have 1+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
• Process certified payroll for employees with precision and compliance.
• Manage payroll for prevailing wage projects.
• Ensure adherence to union payroll regulations and guidelines when applicable.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
• Verify and prepare payroll documentation for audits or reporting purposes.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to payroll activities.
• Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• At least 1+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of union payroll practices and certified payroll reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with certified payroll processes and prevailing wage requirements.
• Experience using payroll software for payroll management.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations in New Jersey.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and resolve payroll-related issues.
