Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Schedule: 4x10.0 shifts, 40 hours per week; weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• New York State RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Telemetry experience
• 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare patients and monitor them during procedures; assist with post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in critical response efforts for trauma patients, ensuring prompt and effective care.
• Utilize strong communication skills and critical thinking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compliance / Notes:

Required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, along with other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas.
